Starting second week of October, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), the official distributor of Honda cars in the country, is announcing the arrival of the all-new Civic Type R in selected Honda dealerships.
The all-new Civic Type R is the first Type R model to be sold locally and for more than two decades. It’s badge has denoted as the highest performance version of its respective model, derived from philosophy of crafting racing-inspired road cars.
Engine-wise, the new Civic Type R is equipped with 2.0-liter VTEC Turbo that produces 310 ps at 6,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque from 2,500 rpm to 4,500 rpm. It also has 6-speed manual transmission with rev match control system, aerodynamic body, and a sporty yet practical interior.
The all-new Civic Type R is offered to the public in two colors: Championship White and Rallye Red.
