After a good opening salvo at the first round of FORS, Eighteen-year old Polo Bautista of Team Carmudi snatch a podium finish at the grid race of Bracket C at the 2nd Round of the 2017 Flat Out Race Series (FORS).
Bautista, who took 2nd place in the podium, stresses his frustration when his Honda Civic EG hatch accidentally hit twice by another car rivals. “It was frustrating because I was in the lead and it cost me my position. Luckily, my emotions didn’t take over and my concentration wasn’t altered,” said Bautista.
When asked about his plan for the next round of race, Bautista, a graduating student taking up Consular and Diplomatic Affairs at College of Saint Benilde explained: “Regarding the next race, i think i did well the last time so i just have to maintain the level of driving and hopefully goes well.”
Along with Bautista, Hector Tan grabbed the 3rd place and Paulo Santos took the first spot. Meanwhile, on grid race Bracket A, JC Baguisa was named as the fastest driver behind Rafael La’O and Ferdie Sia in 2nd and 3rd position.
