Independent Fuel Company SEAOIL has opened its 500th station as part of the company’s continued expansion in saturating its retail network in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Situated at the heart of busy thoroughfares of Meralco Avenue in Barangay San Antonio, SEAOIL San Antonio station will cater to the growing residential and commercial city of Pasig. The new station also aims to generate local jobs, provide business for new franchise partners, and offer specialized promotions to serve local communities.
Prior to its 500th station, it also opened new stations in Quezon City, Batangas, Mindoro, Pampanga, Cabanatuan, Abra, Compostela Valley, Iloilo, Aklan, Cotabato and Davao. In 2017, the fuel company built its biggest branch to date, the SEAOIL-CityMall Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) mega station, and opened its 400th station in 2018.
Glenn Yu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SEAOIL, shares optimism in the opening of the station. “The opening of our 500th station is part of our goal to fuel a better future in every community and every neighborhood that we are in. This milestone brings us closer to our goal of having 600 stations nationwide by the end of this year,” he added.
The Filipino-owned company had earlier earmarked P10 million to support the country’s efforts to fight COVID-19, offering free fuel and discounts to support frontliners from hospitals, local government units, and transport groups. Its focused efforts to widen its footprint also strengthens SEAOIL’s commitment to #FuelPHtoRecovery and support the Philippines as it bounces back from the COVID-19 pandemic.
