The first half of the MAXXIS NAsFOR 4×4 Cup Extreme Off-Road Challenge has come to a close, with the toughest off-roaders claiming their well-deserved podium places. Leading the pack of off-road athletes with five podium places—four of which are championships—is Joseph Rodriguez of 4Wheelers Davao. He is followed by Jherico Lara of the Aurora Racing Teamwith three podium places and fellow 4Wheelers Davao member Cesar Daquil, who won three as well.
Rodriguez,who started his off-roading career five years ago, is considered the toughest competitor in this year’s challenge. His club 4Wheelers Davaowasa mainstay on the podium during the second quarter because of his and Daquil’s stellar performance, taking the top spot in the 6th and 5th legs, respectively.

Off-roading household name Noel Bartolome Jr. of the Landcruiser Club Philippines, who placed second in the 5th leg and third in the 7th leg, is gaining momentum in the challenge with two podium places. Also with two podium places are Euane Evangelista of Digos 4Wheelers, Derrick Gahite of Manila East Offroaders and Edison Dungca of Kapampangan Racing Team.
