Who would’ve thought that a 23-year-old freelance photographer would be awarded as the grand prize winner of Samsung Electronics Philippines Moments Worth A Million online photography contest.
This is what happen to Kevin Miguel A. Saño, a local resident of Malabon City after submitting his entry during the 5th week of the competition highlighting the theme Best Meal Ever.”
The 8-week long challenge, which took place in the latter half of 2017, aimed to encourage Filipinos to capture some of their best moments with the help of the Samsung Galaxy J7+.
Nico Gonzales, Marketing Manager for Core Smartphones of Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation, said, “We wanted to give the contestants artistic freedom in capturing their best moments throughout the competition, and they definitely did not disappoint. “Each photo impressed us in their own way, and that’s exactly how we visualized the Galaxy J7+’s users photos to look like,” shares Gonzales.
Saño’s winning piece for best moment photo was captioned as “Life of a Fisherman.” His entry took home the grand prize, based on its high scores for originality, creativity, and engagement.
