It’s now official! The iconic member of the Volkswagen family has arrived. The German car brand Volkswagen announces via virtual media launch the unveiling of its premium executive van—the Volkswagen Kombi Highline.

According to Volkswagen Philippines President Felipe Estrella, “We are very delighted that we have added another model to our portfolio this year besides the T-Cross. This is already the second model to arrive and we expect more models to arrive in the future. The Volkswagen Multivan Kombi is a brand new, premium van ready to cater to the premium market.”

The Multivan Kombi is the crème de la crème of Volkswagen’s multivans. It distinguishes itself from other Kombi configurations such as the Transporter (designed for cargo and shuttle services), Caravelle (used as an economical people carrier), and the California (designed more as a family camper).

From its 2.0-liter TDI engine and the 7-speed DSG transmission, down to its slew of innovative safety systems, the Multivan Kombi offers an exceptionally smooth and stable ride. The Tiptronic function and coasting feature lessens driver fatigue on long trips, while the 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque emanating from the powertrain guarantee adequate power, optimum fuel efficiency, and smooth shifts regardless of the load.

The Multivan Kombi makes occupant safety among its highest priorities.
