After officially announcing the discontinuation of the Honda Jazz, the local unit of Japan’s Honda Motor Co. Ltd is back in the game with the announcement of the arrival of a new hatch version of the Honda City.

According to Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), the all-new Honda City Hatchback will level up its presence in the popular B-segment category by adding the latest embodied stylish exterior design, outstanding interior space, and advanced technologies.

Given the all-new City’s commendable attributes, Honda aims to further elevate the City nameplate by introducing a new sporty 5-door hatchback serving as the brand’s newest hatchback offering. Equipped with an improved overall package and versatility that would complement the diverse needs of customers and their active lifestyles.

We’re thinking Honda will be using the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine for the new City Hatchback, a secret formula they used from their previous predecessor.
