Finally, the long wait is over! Maxus Philippines, the Ayala-owned exclusive distributor of Maxus vehicles in the country, officially unveiled via media virtual launched the much-anticipated MPV of Maxus, the G50.
“We remain optimistic about the growth opportunity, even in these crucial times. The arrival of the G50 in Maxus vehicle line-up allows us to forecast a potential 25-percent growth of volume sales together with our T60, which are both strong pillars of the brand,” said Felipe Estrella, President of Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc.
The chief executive explained how important the G50 in their vehicle line-up. “We have recognized the importance of families since we launched our flagship model, the G10 multi-purpose vehicle in 2019. Our other models, the V80 van as well as our pick-up, the T60, match the continuously evolving needs and wants of Filipino families. We likewise appreciate the hard work of micro, small and medium enterprise owners. The reliability, efficiency, power and versatility of our products make them ideal for businesses and even essential, life-saving purposes. The G50 is our latest vehicle that caters, again, to the Filipino family,” add Felipe.
“Maxus brings a long and rich history of automotive reliability from Europe with its British origins. From Europe to Asia and now the Philippines, we get to experience the Maxus brand excellence. Together with Ayala’s equally long history in the country, Maxus is committed to continue to provide quality vehicles and services for Filipinos, even despite the situation we are in now,” concludes Felipe.
With its modern design, spacious interior, superior features, and value-for-money pricing across the compact and subcompact MPV segments, the G50 is ideal for young entrepreneurs and up-and-coming corporate managers who need not just an all-in-one vehicle, but also a “more-in-one” MPV for their daily transport, their business or delivery vehicle, or their weekend leisure ride with the entire household.
The G50 ticks off all the boxes that define a compact MPV, and then goes the extra mile by adding more to the total package, such as the turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine, a spacious 8-seater cabin, reverse camera, Park Distance Control, keyless entry, push-start button, Electronic Stabilization Program, and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold for all variants. A 12-inch infotainment system, 360-degree view camera, leather seats are added for the Premium and Elite variants, whereas a panoramic sunroof, mobile wireless charging, LED headlights and power tailgate are available for the top-of-the-line Premium variant.
The G50 will be available in three variants: the 1.5 Turbo DCT Pro (P1.088 Million); the 1.5 Turbo DCT Elite (P1.168 Million); and the 1.5 Turbo DCT Premium (P1.288 Million).
