The local unit of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation recently turned over seventeen (17) Vios units to Department of Health (DOH) hospitals during a simple ceremony held at its head office and manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
According to Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP), the donation forms is part of the committed thirty (30) units earlier announced by TMP last June to support the mobility needs of healthcare frontliners in Metro Manila and Laguna.
Department of Health (DOH) undersecretary Gerardo Bayugo graced the occasion, together with hospital representatives who received premium variants of the locally-produced Vios.
