HARI Foundation, Inc. (HFI), the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), has continued its commitment to contribute in rebuilding Marawi City by donating 10 boxes of laptop and desktop computers to National High School and the City Schools Division of Marawi.
HFI has been an active supporter of Gawad Kalinga (GK) efforts at rehabilitating war-torn Marawi through the donation of vehicles that now ply the province as Kusina ng Kalinga (KNK) vans.
Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, HFI President, said, “Through this donation, we reaffirm HFI’s advocacy for education as the most effective and long-term way of empowering people and building a better world for all. Driven by our faith in the power of the Filipino’s heart and heeding the call of the times, we engage like-minded partners from the government, in this case, our friends from the education sector Marawi, to help in a way that is meaningful to people, especially at the grassroots.”
The turnover was held in the presence of the schools’ academic community. Present during the event were (left to right) Anna Zenaida Unte-Alonto, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, City Schools Division of Marawi, Ministry of Basic Higher and Technical Education, BARMM, Jon Ramos of HFI, and Lominog Manoga, principal of Marawi City National High School.
