It’s back! The longest running car show in the Metro that focus on restored and customized show cars is gearing up for its upcoming event—the 28th TransSportShow.
The 4-day event, which will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, unites gearheads and car aficionados to a much grander and bigger car exhibition and aftermarket displays.
Tradeshow International, Inc, the proponent and organizer of TransSportShow, strike a balance between the event’s continued financial viability and its passion to stage a real car enthusiasts’ show every year. “We have not missed a year despite the several economic crises that the country has suffered. TransSportShow has endured. TransSportShow has lasted this long mainly because we value the goals and objectives of the key players in the project,” says Sophie delos Santos, President of TransSportShow.
The head of TransSportShow, who is a 100-percent certified car nut and the only female car event organizer in the auto industry, stressed the importance of ensuring that exhibitors and sponsors meet their objectives in joining the show providing them with the target market—quality against quantity. “Equally important is to ensure that the show is worth the visitors’ time and money and that the suppliers provide the professional service needed to run the show,” adds delos Santos.
Here’s 3 Good Reasons Why You Should Not Miss Out the 28th TransSportShow:
1.) If SM tagline is We’ve Got it All For You, the TransSportShow offers similar “We’ve Got Everything For You” car exhibits! The show never fails to amaze visitors with a line-up of over 100 project vehicles competing for the much coveted TransSportShow Cup Best of Show Award. Not only that, the show floor literally turns into a beauty pageant of vehicles, 95-percent of which will be displayed for the first time.
Last year’s Best of Show winner for the Contemporary class was Import Hook-Up’s 2017 Mclaren 570S (featured in the poster). The Best of Show winner for the Nostalgic class was a 1998 Toyota Corolla by Vonetix Radical Creations. Alex Car Restoration, meanwhile, bagged the Reserve Best of Show Nostalgic award for its Shelby Cobra.
2. Everything about Aftermarket Products. The event is also a trade and retail exhibition of what’s new and popular in the automotive aftermarket industry. There will be rows and rows of booths to buy accessories from for one’s car as well as affiliated products and services for the owner/driver.
3. Discounts, Promos, and Raffles. The show will have special promotional events to ensure a fun-filled and exciting car show experience for everyone. These are product launches, raffles, demonstrations, competitions . There will be the much awaited Miss TransSportShow contest featuring 12 pre-selected finalists who will be gracing the ribbon-cutting ceremony on opening day- May 23.
