The Toyota RAV4 is back! Yup, this is the first compact crossover SUV produced by the Japanese car brand Toyota. Overall, the vehicle is designed for those who wanted to experience the benefits of an SUV—space, comfort, and power. Although, not all RAV4 are four-wheel drive, it’s acronym “Recreational Activity Vehicle” really speaks for itself.

Today marks the local launched of the 5th Generation all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4. Exterior-wise, the new RAV4 banks on its upgraded, more premium design paired with better performance and capability made possible by the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA)—a platform that applies Toyota’s principles and technologies to improve its vehicles’ Agility, Stability and Visibility.

Once you look on its body, you can easily notice the “cross-octagon” styling which combines a wide wedge-shaped front that links with an octagon-shaped spacious and utilitarian rear.

The new RAV4 is now faced with two-tiered upper and lower trapezoid-shaped grille that produces a wide and stable stance and provides a strong presence expected of an SUV. It has a new alloy wheel designs in all configurations, regardless of whether customers choose the 17-or 18-inch option.

Inside, the new RAV4 now highlights user-friendly features and technology such as 7-inch multi-information display that can be switched between analog and digital display modes, wireless charger, 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat with memory and lumbar support, and inside rear view mirror. You can also accessorized the new RAV4 with seat heaters, soft-touch dashboard and panels, rear cooler, leather seats, and a panoramic moon roof to complete the luxurious feel.

Under the hood is a powerful 2.5-liter Dynamic Force engine with Dual VVT-I with VVT-iE (Variable valve timing intelligent system by Electric motor) aiming for optimum performance and less fuel for combustion. This can be paired with direct shift 8-speed automatic transmission, which features a multi-plate lock-up clutch that provides a wider lock up range allowing shifting and acceleration to be smoother and faster.

Oh, and lastly, let’s talk about safety. The all-new RAV4 is equipped with unparalleled safety features such as 7 airbags, 8-eye front & rear sensor, back-up camera, anti-lock brake system with emergency brake signal, and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).

The all-new Toyota RAV4 is available in three variants: the entry level LE priced at P1,638,000.00, XLE at P1,870,000.00, and the top-of-the-line LTD at P2,188,000.00.
