After missing 5 years in the racing scene, Suzuki Philippines is once again on the center staged after winning a back-to-back championship race at the Super Series Nationwide Championships and MotoIR Championship series.
The Team Suzuki-VMan, which composed of veteran rider April King Mascardo, Mark Djereck Ondillo, Jaypee Obedenceio, Eane Jaye Sobretodo, and Josh Reuben Tan, were present to celebrate their success and dominance in the race, together with the motoring media, business partners, and Suzuki officials.
In his welcome remarks, Hiroshi Suzuki, President of Suzuki Philippines, “We are supporting Suzuki VMan Racing Team because its important for us to support our young riders achieve their dreams, while also testing the performance of our machines.”
The chief executive shares his sentiments about their passion to return in the race. “We are not doing this for commercial marketing, but rather to discover the full potential of our racing young riders, and that’s the most important thing. Suzuki Philippines will be always on the reach of every ones dream, “ explained Suzuki.
Also, joining the Victory Party were Jun Bulot, General Manager of Motorcycle Sales and Marketing; Monch Bontogon, Marketing Head for Motorcycle; and Tamotsu Shimizu, After Sales General Manager for Motorcycles and Automobiles.
Meanwhile, Monch Bontogon, Marketing Head for Motorcycle, expressed his admiration to their riders. “Our racers had gone through a lot. April King Mascardo, who is the Super Underbone Champion, lost his father during our leg race. But it doesn’t stop him to work hard and the rest of the team to put a good show. He is really a true work of a champion.”
