Blade Auto Center, the country’s largest automotive accessories chain store, has successfully wrote another musical history anew with the staging of Bandang Blade.
Now on its second year, Bandang Blade is a 2-day music festival and car show geared towards music and automotive enthusiasts.
Held at the sprawling grounds of the Metrowalk at Metrotent in Pasig City, this year’s staging of the music and car show extravaganza attracted fans from all over Metro Manila, and nearby provinces.
The car show was held in partnership with B2B-Hot Import Nights, in cooperation with Fubu’s The Hood III.
“The car show participants tripled in numbers from last year, as the grounds were filled with cars from end to end. The Hot Import Nights models also drew in the crowds,” said Albert Go, marketing manager of Blade Auto Center.
The car show was supported by various car clubs from all over Metro Manila. Aside from the day-long activities, patrons of the event had a blast shopping for car accessories, and other event related merchandise at discounted prices.
The highlight of the music extravaganza was the concert held at the Metrotent. This year’s Bandang Blade featured rapper Shanti Dope, DJ Kim Lee and one of the country’s popular band Parokya ni Edgar.
This year’s Bandang Blade was also the launch pad for the upcoming movie “Dito lang Ako”, a film produced by Blade Auto Center to be shown later this year. Lead artist Jon Lucas, Akihiro Blanco, Roadfill of Moymoy Palaboy and movie icon Freddie Webb graced the event to the delight of the crowd.
“We are so blessed this year given the sheer number of people who attended the event. We promise to keep on improving and become better every year,” adds Robertson Sy Tan, Founder and CEO of Blade Auto Center.
