Last October 21, the group of Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI)—the proponent of Car of the Year and Truck of the Year-Philippines—evaluated 23 different motorcycles from manufacturers and distributors in its search to award the last two-wheels standing for the 2017 Motorcycle of the Year-Philippines.
Taiwan-based motorcycle manufacturer Kymco were present offering different variants of their Like 125 Italia and Racing King 180. To supplement bigger displacement, Kymco brought their bigger guns scooter—the Exciting 400i and the recently launched AK550.
Japanese Motorcycle manufacturer Honda, on the other hand, presented 5 different motorcycle models, namely the Beat 110, Click 125i, Click 150i, Wave 110 and CB 150 R. China-brand Motorstar also returned with their retro motorcycle, the Cafe 400. Newcomer Indian brand of motorcycle TVS also were present to participate their Apache RTR 200 4V, Apache RTR 180, Dazz, Rock Z, Neo, Max Semitrail and Max 4R.
Providing more glitz and glamour were the iconic brands like Harley-Davidson, Indian and Ural. Representing Harley-Davidson were the Street Rod and Street 500 while Indian had their Scout and Scout Sixty on hand for testing. Not to be left out, Ural brought two units to the ballgame, namely their Patrol and Retro models.
