Forty-years-old Rizaldy Canare of 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team recently bagged second place under the Pirelli Cup Group B category at the 3rd leg of the 2017 Eneos Philippine Motorsports Championships held at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
Canare, who started racing in 2004, is originally from Orani, Bataan. For 2 consecutive years, Canare is supported by 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team. “I always had a good end whenever I compete using the racing parts provided by 4S1M,” he said. The products never failed to deliver quality performance. Being grateful himself, he hopes that 4S1M will keep on supporting him in his future races,” explained Canare.
Meanwhile, fresh from satisfying finishes in the second leg, their three racers, Mark Djereck Ondillo, Herbert Lopez, and Jeff Teopengco welcomed Gupita Kresna Wardhana from the Bintang Racing Team Indonesia.
The scorching heat of the sun welcomed the team on the first day but it did not hinder the team to have a powerful qualifying round. When the actual race day rolled in, however, things were a little tougher than expected. Team Manager Ronald Uy narrated few challenges when Gupita injured himself during the warm-up lap—hindering him to continue. Following the incident, Herbert Lopez’ engine exploded twice causing the whole mechanics crew do last minute tweaks and tune ups.
Regardless of the challenges faced by the team, 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team showed its mettle by actively driving for success. The team remains confident that despite this leg’s setbacks, they will be able to gain more wins in the next legs to come.
4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team is powered by BRT and Racing Force. The team is also supported by Replica Pro, Marton Batteries, JM Mirasol, RK Racing Chain, Gazi Damper Evolution, MDS, FDR, MP (Moto Power Conversion), Racing Boy, Moto Garage PH, Nissin and Jersey Haven.
