Korean carmaker Hyundai is putting a show in the Passenger Car (PC) segment after a remarkable sales growth of 6-percent or 14,163 units sold from January to May of this year.

According to Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the country, the Hyundai Accent remains to be their best selling nameplate of the company, with total of 6,299 units sold, or an equivalent of 39-percent increase.

Meanwhile, Hyundai’s Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) segment registered a total of 4,393 units compared to 2016 sales of 4,217 units during the five-month period. The main key driver of LCV segment is their Grand Starex, which delivered 1,672 units.

Supporting the Accent is their all-new Hyundai Elantra, which now equipped with advanced dynamic precision, posted an exceptional 31-percent increase on a  year-to-date, with 559 units sold.
