Despite of the unpredictable weather, all racers displayed their stunning performance in both grid and time attack series, showcasing their talent and skills at the recently concluded Round 4 of the 2017 Flat Out Race Series at Batangas Racing Circuit.
Not to be outdone is Carmudi Racing Team as they continue to be aggressive in winning more podium in both FORS and PEC. A total of 9 awards were given to Carmudi Racing Team—6 awards during the FORS race and 2 awards at the 4-hours Philippine Endurance Challenge.
New comer and experience 2-wheel racer Julian Diego of Carmudi Racing Team made its debut in four-wheels after finishing strong win at the Bracket G of Time Attack race. Diego—who is driving with his Civic Hatchback—clocked the best time of 02:11:555.
Consistent podium finisher Ronn Catindig of Carmudi Racing Team did well placing third, behind Greg Suing in first and Paulo Santos in second spot.
Meanwhile, the Bracket C Time Attack was a thrilling race as top 2 contender Kevin Sugden and Bubi Camus of Carmudi Racing Team goes head-to-head on the track. Sugden took home and finished the first place position. Polo Bautista place third place.
In Bracket B, Nicolo Fernandez reigned in first place, followed by Andrew de Asis (second place) and Andrei Lim (third place). In Bracket A, top caliber driver Eduardo Suiza clocked the best time of 01:49:018, followed by JC Baguisa on close second and Rafae La’O on third.
On the Grid race, Carmudi Racing Team took over control on Grid C of Smart Fuels. Bubi Camus finished strong on first place, followed by Jack Saquilayan on second and Polo Bautista, who is down with fever, still managed to grab the third place. In Bracket A, the fastest man of track belongs to Aaron Lao, followed by Eggy Ong while Eduardo Suiza place on third.
In the Philippine Endurance Challenge, Team BMW AutoPerformance Motorsport was crowned overall champion and winner of the FM1 Class.
The Round 5 of Flat Out Race Series is schedule on July 1 at Clark International Speedway.
