Suzuki Philippines, Inc (SPH)—the exclusive distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the country—expressed its confidence after reaching an improved year-on-year sales growth of over 37-percent in the 3rd Quarter of 2016. This was attributed from its increase of passenger car sales and aggressive financing scheme promos.
Based from the report of Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), Suzuki PH ranks fifth on the passenger segment with total vehicle YTD sales of 12,948 from November 2016, compared to 9,502 YTD sales in November of 2015.
Shuzo Hoshikura, Suzuki PH General Manager for Automobile, said, “We are thankful for the unwavering support of our loyal customers who help build the brand and gain a favorable market response. The company is more motivated than ever to continue its strong business momentum, and strengthen its foothold in the Philippine market in the upcoming years.”
“Our awards during Car-of-the-Year (COTY) with Suzuki Ciaz as Best Subcompact Car and Carry as Best in Commercial Utility proves that the brand is slowing capturing the bigger audience,” explained Hoshikura.
Currently, Suzuki PH is selling 9 vehicles from its stable—the Alto 800, Celerio, Swift 1.2, Jimny, Ertiga, Ciaz, APV, Grand Vitara, and Super Carry.
