After its global debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show last month, Honda Cars Philippines—the exclusive distributor of Honda cars in the country—is revving up with the upcoming introduction of the all-new Honda Civic.
Honda announced that the 10th generation Civic will now offers new exterior body, sophisticated interior, and lots of advanced features. The Civic, which has been the best-selling compact car in the mid 90’s, will include the top-of-the-line Civic variant—the RS Turbo.
So what’s special about the RS Turbo variant? Well, Honda engineers make sure that Civic fanatics will be happy once they see the car with 17-inch RS Design alloy wheels, gloss black front grille, rear wing spoiler, LED fog lights, Chrome Door handles, and an RS emblem.
Inside, the car is integrated with premium quality soft-touch materials and an extensive package of intuitive controls. This includes Multi-Information Display, Electrostatic Steering Wheel Controls, 7-inch Advanced Display Audio, and Multi-view reverse camera. Added features includes Remote Engine Start Function that starts the vehicle engine and turns on the Auto Climate Control System with a simple push of a button.
In terms of power, the new Civic is equipped by either a 1.8-liter engine or Honda’s first-ever turbocharged engine that produces 169 horsepower.
