To uplift the global standard and expand its after-sales service, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), recently held its 7th Body and Paint National Customer Service Skills Competition at the HCPI manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Launched in 2002, the competition which is held every two years, focus on dealer service associate exemplary skills and knowledge in Honda’s after-sales service. It allows to promote standard Body and Paint Repair Processes using appropriate tools and equipment that aided in delivering finished products with efficiency and superior quality. Through the competition, contestants were also able to exhibit their skills in providing customer needs beyond satisfaction.
This year’s theme “Driven by Quality Service, Going Beyond Customer Satisfaction”, sixty-four (64) in-house Honda technicians from twenty-two (22) dealerships nationwide were gathered together to test their skills following Honda’s standard welding process, paint repair process, and service advisor skills. It has four categories which include Body Repair, Paint Repair, Paintless Dent Repair and Service Advisor.
Declared winners were Angelo G. Maglalang of Honda Cars Marcos Highway (HCMH) for the Paint Repair category; Orlando A. Dequiros of Honda Cars Quezon City (HCQC) for the Body Repair category; Nick C. Dalit of Honda Cars Makati (HCMI) for the Paintless Dent Repair category; and Richard M. Gigante of Honda Cars Shaw (HCSW) for the Service Advisor category.
