Online car platform Carmudi has recently extended its partnership with the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI) for the latter’s upcoming 2016 Car of the Year Philippines (COTY-P) and Truck of the Year Philippines (TOTY-P) awards.

Now on its second year in support of CAGI, the international website with a dedicated Philippine content is fast becoming the choice conduit between verified, reputable sellers and prospective buyers of new and old vehicles. Carmudi users have unparalleled, swift access to tens of thousands of certified listings and, perhaps most importantly, get an unmatched guarantee of the lowest price.

“We are pleased to announce that Carmudi will once again support the Car of the Year Awards by renewing our partnership with CAGI. This is in keeping with our commitment to provide our customers with the best possible information when it comes to making automobile purchase decisions,” said Abhi Mohan, managing director of Carmudi Philippines.

“CAGI plays an important role in bringing together the automobile industry as an unbiased third party, and we remain supportive of the group’s initiatives,” added Mohan.

In preparation for testing, CAGI has recently added two brand-new VBOX Sport data loggers to its arsenal. The VBOX is an internationally recognized data acquisition system that uses high-performance GPS receivers. It is able to measure speed, distance, acceleration, braking distance, heading, slip angle, lap times, position, cornering forces, and more with high accuracy.

The Car Awards Group, Inc.’s 2016 Car of the Year Philippines season is co-presented by Carmudi.com.ph in partnership with KPMG.

Established in 2004, CAGI is the longest-running organization of motoring journalists in the country today. The Test Fest starts today until October 26 at Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
