Pilipinas Taj Autogroup Inc, the exclusive distributor of Tata Motors passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the country, recently participated at the 2nd Indian Independence Day Friendship Golf Tournament at the Palmer Course of The Orchard Country Club in Cavite.
The event started with the traditional hitting of ceremonial balls by officials and execs from Tata Motors PH. A total of 80 players, composed of Indians, Filipinos and other expats join together to celebrate democracy and friendship.
“The tournament were filled with fun and excitement, as golfers across diverse industries get to play and network with each other, accompanied by great food and raffle prizes”, said Cresencio Vincent Fernandez Jr., president of TATA Motors Philippines.
Tata Motors PH sponsored Manza Ini Manual Transmission as the hole-in-one prize. The event was organized by Embassy of India, together with lead sponsor and principal coordinator HGS (Hinduja Global Solutions).
The Manza is Tata’s modern day sedan that offers 2 engine variant: gas and diesel. The diesel-fed engine has a 1.3-liter Quadrajet that produces 89 hp at 4,000 rpm. Interior-wise, the car also comes fitted with standard features such as the advanced 2-DIN Music system, Bluetooth hands-free and steering mounted controls.
